Fellowship immediately following service

We’ve been
waiting for you! We believe that everyone who comes into the
circle of this special fellowship has been sent here by God. So
we are glad that you have chosen to join us. We greet you with
the authentic love that Christ has given us. Exciting things are
happening here and we welcome the opportunity to share them with
you. God’s Spirit is with us!
Second Church is truly a family of God, rich in the
relationships that matter the most in life; relationships that
give meaning to life. As we Grow together in faith, we worship,
we serve, we laugh, we celebrate, we cry, we learn, and we reach
out to others with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you
today. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open. If you have been
searching and praying for a place to belong, we say again...
WELCOME!

General Information
About
Second Presbyterian Church
Second Church is a historic church designed by noted area
architect, Walter Myton, in 1897. Mr. Myton was a deacon in the
church. The beautiful styling of the church and the wonderful
acoustics are a tribute to Mr. Myton’s skill as an architect.
Second
Church is a part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), a
denomination of Protestantism that emphasizes acknowledging
Jesus Christ as Lord. We believe in the Scriptures as the
inspired Word of God. We also believe that each one of us is
called into the Church by God to serve God in the world. It is
through this relationship with God and with one another as the
faith community that our lives are given meaning and purpose.
We are a small church. We believe that we have been called for a
special purpose as part of God’s plan to have the gospel of
love, preached and lived by Jesus, spread to others. We hope you
will join us as we fulfill our mission.
